EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (Eucharistic Ministers) are lay persons called upon to help distribute holy communion to the faithful during Mass.
Ministers may also be called upon to serve as Ministers of Consolation, working with bereaved families to plan and complete paperwork for a loved one’s funeral.
Some ministers also serve those who are homebound, in nursing homes or in hospitals.
Membership is open to anyone willing to prayerfully commit themselves to this ministry.
If interested in becoming an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist at St. Jules Catholic Church or Immaculate Conception Mission, please email ministries@stjules-icm.org.
